Vehicle Detail
***Attention Collectors*** For sale is this beautiful unmolested 1976 CB550F Super Sport in the rare color Shiny Orange. It is believed that only a few hundred of these were ever manufactured and they weren't a real popular color option back in the day. I have NEVER seen one anywhere, especially in this condition and moreover, for sale. This bike is a low mileage unit that runs perfect. I bought this bike from a 70 year old man who babied it. He scraped the left rear turn signal one day and decided it was time to sell it due to health issues and his inability to hold the bike up. I will provide the new owner with a very good replacement turn signal with no scrapes anywhere. Also comes with the original handlebars, mirrors, and correct exhaust (see photo's). I can't stress enough how well this bike runs and looks! The valves do tick a little when the bike warms up so it may need a slight valve adjustment. This is just a really nice example of an old classic that would look right at home in any collection. Avon tires are in great shape and everything works as it should. New battery, carbs were rebuilt within the last two years by the previous owner ($400). No rust anywhere on this bike, the chrome is in good shape, no rust on the rims, original seat in great shape, inside the tank looks like new. This bike still has the safety inspection chalk on it from the factory. Comes with Clymers manual and clean title. Please ask questions before you bid or buy. All shipping cost are the responsibility of the buyer! I will accept paypal only under certain conditions! The winning bidder must contact me immediately to set up payment arrangements. Once full payment is received, I will release the bike to the shipper. I highly recommend going through USHIP.com as they are fast, inexpensive, and easy to deal with. I am not desperate to sell, am not a dealer, I don't do this for a living, I'm an enthusiast. If you'd like any detailed photos of a specific area of the bike, just ask! I have many photos of it but will be glad to take more if needed. Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. I will not sugarcoat anything for the sake of a few extra dollars and am not in the business to screw anyone. With all the bikes I own or have owned over the years, I know how disappointing it is when someone over-sells a bikes condition so you may be sure I won't do that to you. I have disclosed and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. If the bike doesn’t sell this time around, I’ll sit on it ‘til spring and sell it for a lot more than the reserve. This is an absolutely beautiful motorcycle! You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect the bike and test drive it prior to bidding. Although this bike is sold "As Is" and "Without Warranty", I want you to be happy and I will do anything within reason to me to see that you are. Thank you and good luck! I reserve the right to end this auction at any time in order to sell this item locally as well. However, once reserve has been met, the bike will go to the highest bidder here on ebay! Good Luck!
