I am selling this 1972 El Camino for a friend. It was rescued from an lost interest restoration. It has been painted as a daily driver/sheet metal protection and is not considered a restoration. The vinyl competition stripes give it an look. It has a clear Kansas title. The indicated mileage cannot be verified. The body was prepped by previous owner before the current owner’s preservation paint job was applied. The motor is a 350cu in Chevrolet equipped with a 2bbl carburetor and automatic transmission. The motor starts and runs nicely and does not smoke. It is equipped with headers and mufflers (no tail pipes). The previous owner appears to have rebuilt the front-end (ball joints, bushings, shocks) giving it a tight steering and suspension. A new steering column ignition key lock tumbler was installed by the current owner along with a new battery. Both door hinges are tight and are not sagging. Doors close and align well. Only the passenger door panel is included. The seat belts and four arm rests are also included. The glove box door is missing. The tires are mounted on rally rims and are in fair condition.
