Up for auction is my 82 year old Father-In-Laws 1997 Jaguar Coupe. He was the original owner since new. The car has 11,256 original miles, and has not been in any accidents of any kind. It still wears all of its its original paint. He has owned many Jaguars over the years and always favored this one. The interior is in great shape it is clean and has no rips or tears of any kind. All the cars features and functions work as they should. To date we have located both keys, but only one of the key FOBS. Please expect only one FOB, however if we find the other we will also include it with the auction. As for the exterior it is in good shape, the paint shines as it should. I have included pictures of the following defects for you to see. There is a small door ding in the left side quarter panel, a small ding in the trunk lid, and a light rib mark on the left side front bumper around the turn light. The tires are all original, and have plenty or life left. They are neither dry rotted nor cracked. This car was not driven in the winters nor does it have any body rust. Mechanicals all work as they should. The engine start easily, and runs well. The transmission shifts clean and smooth. The brakes are smooth with no vibration. There are also no oil leaks of any kind. This car has never had any major mechanical repair other than regular maintenance. I have driven this car and it drives great and is fun to drive, I would love to keep it, however, with a soon to be 16 year old it is too much car for him to drive. Please keep in mind this is a 16 year old car so it does not have any warranty and is sold as is were is. I would like a $200 deposit at the auctions end, with the balance due and cleared prior to the cars pick-up. I will be glad to assist on this end with shipping should that be needed but all shipping costs are the buyers responsibility.
