Up For Auction Here Is A 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit "Caddy" Pickup, Comes With Clean Oregon Title, Has The 1.7 Liter Gasoline Engine, 5 Speed Transmission, Sunroof, Tinted Windows, 154k Original Mileage, Black Exterior With Tan/Black Interior, Solid Glass Back Window, Center Floor Console, 14 Inch Aftermarket Aluminum Mag Wheels, Chrome Bumpers, Spray In Bed-liner, Dual Remote Sport Style Mirrors, Comes With Factory 13 Inch Steel Wheels With Good Tires That Have About 80% Tread Left ( Missing Original Chrome Center Caps ), Comes With Original Factory Tan Vinyl Bucket Seats ( Caddy Has Upgraded Cloth Seats And Door Panels From A 1984 Volkswagen Jetta, Original Driver Seat Does Have Tearing In Seat Cushion ), All Gauges Appear To Be In Working Order Which Include Speedometer/Tachometer/Gas Gauge/Temperature Gauge, Has The Center Floor Console With 3 Gauge Cluster ( Clock Doesn't Appear To Be In Working Order ), Vinyl Shift Boot Has Some Tearing To It, Carpet Is Free Of Holes But Does Have Some Minor Stains, Door Panels Have Built In Speakers And Storage Area ( Passenger Side Door Panel Has Minor Break Where Speaker Meets Map Holder/Storage Area That Does Not Affect Operation Of Door ), Headliner Is Free Of Tearing But Gluing Is Coming Undone At The Corners, Driver Side Door Was Replaced At Some Point Before My Ownership And Has The Solid Wind Wing Window But The Passenger Side Has The Adjustable Opening Wind Wing, Both The Dash And The Windshield Are Cracked ( Was Planning On Replacing Both At The Same Time Since The Dash Would Be Easier To Remove With Windshield Out ), The Caddy Runs And Drives Just Fine But Does Smoke A Little Bit Upon Start Up, Engine Still Has Plenty Of Power And Still Gets Good MPG, This Caddy Has Not Been Licensed And On The Road Since 1997 But Has A Clean Oregon Title And I Do Drive It Around The Neighborhood Every So Often To Help Keep Parts Functioning Correctly, As I Stated All Gauges And Electronics Are In Working Order With Exception To The Clock And The Horn, And For Some Reason Occasionally The Driver Side Brake Light Will Cancel Out When The Pedal Is Depressed When The Headlights Are On, Headlights And Turn Signals Are In Working Order, Door Handles Were Replaced At The Same Time The Seats And Door Panels Were From The Same Jetta So Ignition Key Is Different From The Doors So That The Doors Can Be Locked While The Vehicle Is Running Unlike Standard Which Is Great For Winter Time Should You Need To Warm The Vehicle Up Before Driving, Rear Wheel Bearing Have Recently Been Repacked, Tires That Are On The 14 Inch Mag Wheels Pictured Are Pretty Bald And Should Be Replaced At Some Point, Paint Is Very Shiny But Not The Original Paint But Is An Original Black And It Does Presents Very Well But Does Have Some Minor Signs Of Body Work, Mainly In The Tailgate.
