Up for sale is my 1998 Ford f-150 4x4 stepside pickup in great shape. I have owned this truck since june 2004. This truck has been a very reliable truck, and has provided many years of valuable service. I replaced the engine in 2006 with a rebuilt jasper engine with a warranty. I have all the documentation for the purchase of the engine. When I had the engine installed the truck had approx 99,000 miles on it. So the engine in this truck only has 42000 miles on it. This truck does not leak, smoke, hesitate or no major defects at all. I just recently had brand new brake lines installed front to back, and a new rear differential plate and gasket installed. This truck has a lifetime guaranteed gibson stainless steel exhaust installed complete with headers, muffler, and all pipes. The truck sounds good. I also have a complete K&N intake filter kit installed. The truck comes with a remote start complete with two remotes, a aftermarket pioneer radio with cd player, and pioneer speakers. The truck has had all ford recalls performed, Tires have minimal wear, The A/C blows cold The front and rear brakes have recently been replaced, I just changed out the plugs, filters, and synthetic oil. Since I have replaced the engine, I have only used synthetic oil. In my opinion and my mechanics opinion this truck is in good shape. The interior is clean, and no rips tears or stains. The paint is original, however the hood and top, are in need of new paint, the rest of the truck shines like new. I guess the top gets the most sun. There are two minor dings in the rear bed door. Besides that the additional negatives are as follows: : Passenger side window does not work i think the switch may be bad . Hood release cable needs replacement, I have had the 4 wheel drive serviced and the mechanic replaced the vacuum switches on the firewall, however it goes into 4wd sometimes, I would say this vacuum switch or hose needs to be examined again, because the transmission runs great. The interior light only comes on when the passenger side door is open, a door switch needs replacement. the interior fan for heat and A/C only works on the two highest positions, the fan switch needs replacement. EXTRAS: This truck comes with aftermarket rear tailights, and I have the original ones, a set of aftermarket front headlights with led's looks really nice ( i took them out to pass inspection in New Jersey, which they no longer inpect), third light led set brand new, Billet grill brand new I never installed. Plus a service manual on cd. All of these items will come with the truck. I have a set of 20" chrome wheels with tires and adapters that fit this truck, however they are not part of this sale, however if interested i can send pictures, and if interested i will be willing to sell for a fraction of what I would sell to others because they go with this truck, but they are optional I have tried to explain this truck as best as I can, Any questions please do not hesitate to ask!!
