Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!! is a CALIFORNIA KUSTOM 1956 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE! This is a BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CAR! This is a VERY TRADITIONAL 50's KUSTOM HOT ROD! This is not your average, boring, kustom with a 6 cyl. or small displacement V8. This is a KUSTOM, BUILT TO BE A HOT ROD AS WELL! Starting with the drivetrain: The ORIGINAL engine has been replaced with a HUGE Buick 455 Cubic Inch Engine and the STOCK push button transmission has been replaced with a TURBO 400 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with FLOOR SHIFT! The rear end is STOCK. The 455 has been REBUILT with an OFFENHAUSER ALUMINIUM INTAKE MANIFOLD and 600 CFM EDELBROCK CARBURETOR. The engine runs GREAT and PULLS HARD THROUGH ALL THE GEARS! IT'S VERY FAST! IT SOUNDS GREAT WITH STOCK EXHAUST MANIFOLDS RAN TO OLD STYLE CHROME FUNCTIONAL LAKE PIPES! The AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY THROUGH ALL THE GEARS! It has an OVERSIZED RADIATOR WITH DUAL ELECTRIC FANS AND NEVER OVERHEATS! The STOCK front drum brakes have been replaced with a NEW AFTERMARKET DISC BRAKE CONVERSION THAT MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN BRAKING PERFORMANCE! None of the gauges are hooked up. The HEADLIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS ALL WORK! The sound system SOUNDS GREAT! There is a SUB SYSTEM MOUNTED IN A BOX IN THE TRUNK WITH TWO ROCKFORD FOSGATE 10" SUBS AND ONE ROCKFORD FOSGATE AMPLIFIER. There are TWO KENWOOD 6x9's in the doors and a SONY CD/MP3 PLAYER. THIS SYSTEM SOUNDS AWESOME! The interior is a FULL KUSTOM WHITE NAUGAHYDE with BLUE PIPING TO MATCH THE PAINT SCHEME. The door panels and rear panels are done in WHITE NAUGAHYDE. The carpet is blue low pile. The HEADLINER AND REAR PACKAGE TRAY ARE DONE IN WHITE ANGEL HAIR. IT LOOKS AWESOME! All four windows go UP AND DOWN as they should but there is no driver side door glass and the passenger side glass is cracked. The rear sides are in good shape. The back glass is in GREAT SHAPE. The front windshield is NICE although it does have one rock chip although both previous owners claim that it has been there for almost 20 years and has not moved at all. All the STAINLESS on the car is in great shape and has been POLISHED TO A HIGH LUSTER. Both front and back bumpers as well as the grill could stand to be re-done although they are GREAT for a driver. The interior paint looks NICE. The STOCK STEERING WHEEL is in good shape and it does have the SUICIDE KNOB ATTACHED. There is a KUSTOM SHIFTER INSTALLED with a SKULL SHIFT KNOB THAT HAS BEEN HAND PINSTRIPED! The car has been lowered by cut springs in the front. The rear has been lowered with flipped leaf springs and 4" lowering blocks to give it that LOW, SLEEK LOOK. There are AIR SHOCKS in the rear but they will require new air lines to make them functional. The wheels are CHROME REVERSE WHEELS with OLD SCHOOL SPIDER CAPS. The TIRES ARE COKER CLASSIC WIDE WHITE WALLS! THEY LOOK AWESOME! There is PLENTY OF TREAD on ALL 4 TIRES! The body is RUST FREE and has been blocked out very well! As you can see in the pictures the body is VERY STRAIGHT. The passenger side door cannot be slammed of it does not close all the way. The white paint looks VERY SHARP with OLD SCHOOL CRAB CLAW TURQUOISE WATSON STYLE FLAMES THAT MATCH THE TURQUOISE PAINTED ROOF! The flame PINSTRIPE OUTLINE was done UNDERNEATH THE CLEAR COAT! Lots of clear with a slight hint of metal flake pearl in the clear on the body and roof. IT LOOKS AWESOME IN THE SUN! The FENDER SKIRTS are from a 50's Ford and are screwed in so they can be removed. There are a few little paint flaws as seen in the pictures but nothing major at all and it gets SO MUCH ATTENTION EVERYWHERE YOU GO IT'S INCREDIBLE! The hood and deck lid have been NOSED AND DECKED. THE DOOR HANDLES HAVE BEEN SHAVED ALONG WITH ALL THE BODY SIDE MOLDINGS AND BADGES. The hood is running HOOD PINS and they FUNCTION GREAT! The trunk has a couple spots of rust that have not been treated as seen in the pictures. The rest of the trunk is very solid. A hole was cut to run a fuel line into a 15 GALLON AFTERMARKET FUEL TANK mounted in the trunk. The STOCK fuel tank has been removed. There are 2 dummy SPOTLIGHTS that are installed on both the driver and passenger side. The KUSTOM rear tail lamp plastics have been made in place of the STOCK ORIGINALS. This CAR ALWAYS SITS IN MY GARAGE AND IS A MAJOR ATTENTION GETTER THAT NEVER GETS USED! IT TURNS HEADS EVERY TIME YOU TAKE IT OUT.
