Vehicle Detail

You are Bidding on: A very low mileage, un-touched un-molested un-restored 1983 Honda CB1100F in Candy Pearl Kapiolani Blue I bought this bike in June of this year from the guy who bought it from the original owner. According to him, the original owner stored the bike in a basement for 20 years properly. It's all original paint, which is in excellent un-faded condition The bike in excellent condition in every way. It looks fantastic, beautiful paint with very few flaws, and it runs like brand new. I tried to photograph the paint flaws as best I could. The worst flaw is on the top of the gas tank near the seat, it has what I call a "Kirk Douglas Dimple" The inside of the gas tank is like new with no rust, its nice and shiny. I just took it on a 550 mile trip last weekend down the coast and it didn't miss a beat and has as much power as it did new. The tires only have about 600 miles on them The brakes work like new. The braided brake lines in front were there when I bought the bike. The engine is nice and black, and all the polished engine covers look like new with absolutely no corrosion on them. The seat is flawless and as firm as new The bike rides great with no wollow that most of these older bikes have due to worn out shocks and forks. The pipes are the original black chrome that shows signs of there age in the form of some pitting and minor fading, but they are solid and rust free and have no dents in them. As I mentioned before, the paint is really nice, not absolutely perfect, but 90%. There is no fading at all, but there nicks and scratches here and there, and the dimple in the tank, but overall, its great. I have the clear title for it and it is good until December 2012 Every nut, bolt, fitting, bracket, clip etc. looks to be the factory original Sorry that the picture of the speedo is blown out, I will retake that picture tomorrow showing the mileage. I am listing this as a NO RESERVE auction Please visit my site at digitalpizza dot com and check out my classic bike restorations and keep in mind that I will restore this bike to award winning perfection if you so choose. Or you can call me (Pete) if you have any questions at 415-272-8133 I am sorry, but I will not do a "buy it now" unless it is listed as such. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! Shipping: Buyer is responsible to arrange shipping, however I can suggest a couple of different shippers that I have used and am very happy with their service. Figure its going to cost 500.00 - 675.00 to ship it within the US. It could run 1000.00 - 1500.00 to ship overseas.
