Up for bid is a 2009 Honda CBR600RR. This bike was laid down and has had some repairs done to it and will still need a little more work to bring it back up to 100%. So if you are looking to purchase a bike and ride it trouble free from day one, please look at another bike. This CBR600RR has a clean Connecticut title. It has a Two Brothers Racing exhaust system, rear seat cowl, and a fender eliminator kit with a pivoting plate bracket w/plate light. The Phoenix fairing is aftermarket and will need to be snugged up a little in certain joints. The plastic itself is in great condition, it's just that it is not factory Honda and will need a little tweaking at some connections. The most noticeable damage is to the right front fork area, The adjustment screw at the bottom of the fork has been scraped and the fork tube has been marred, (note close-up photos) and the fork seal should definately be replaced. There is a slight bump in the right side of the front rim. The close up photo shows that it has a good seal at the bead but yet is something that I want to disclose up front. Both tires should be replaced and the front flush mount directionals are not working. The switch is fine and will control the rear LED directionals, which is missing the lens, but the fronts do not come on for whatever reason. The ABS light stays on, yet, there is no ABS system on the bike which seems to me that either the front braking system was replaced with another used one that did not have ABS or the instrumentation was replaced. I have no knowledge of either scenario, but will assume the worst and go from there. The odometer says 769 miles, but since the bike has had only one owner who purchased it new, and there is no carfax for bikes, I am not 100% sure of anything other then I am holding a free and clear title to the bike. The rear brake pedal has been bent out a little, further proof that it was dropped, but the damage seems that it was not going very fast when it happened otherwise there would be a lot more tell-tale signs. We got this bike from one of our wholesalers, who never really got the full story behind the bike, so there are a lot of unanswered questions. All I do know is that the bike is not stolen and has a free and clear title and is up for sale to someone that wants to get a Honda CBR600RR that has a NADA book value of $9253. for a whole lot less. So if there is someone out there, or pehaps another dealer that wants to put a little effor into a bike that is sure to bring back great rewards, then this is the unit.
