Up for sale is a 1994 BMW 540i. The car is in excellent condition for the year, and includes many spare parts - OEM BBS wheels with snow tires that are like new, an extra set of four doors that are also like new, and a spare transmission valve body that alone cost me $900. Last year the transmission was shifting hard and thought the valve body was bad, but when the dealer dropped the transmission pan they said the valve body looked fine and proceeded to swap out the old fluid/filter with new BMW transmission fluid and an OEM filter, and the car was fine. So I thought I'd keep the valve body just in case. The set of four doors is because the bottom of the doors have small surface rust, but nothing through the metal. It can be repaired, or you can just put the new doors on and save yourself some money by not having to get them painted/repaired. The car also comes with a brand new updated oil pan and sending unit from BMW; last time I had the oil changed they noticed a dent in the bottom of the pan which could eventually rust and create a leak, so I ordered a new pan and planned to put it on before winter but because I'm selling the car the next owner can do it if they want to. The car uses Mobil 1 0W-40 Synthetic Euro car formula, and does not burn any oil or anything like that. At 50k miles, the motor was replaced with a brand new long block from BMW due to a recall back in 1997.
