Here is your chance. I know....you think it might be a little rough, but if it wasn't, it would be $100,000 and you might not be able to afford it. When you get done restoring this car it will be orange. Not brown or green or gray. It will be orange with white stripes and white interior. And you will have the prettiest LS6 Chevelle at Barrett-Jackson. Buy it now or forever hold your peace. Here is the story. I have seen this car sitting "across the tracks" for over 30 years. That guy is the original owner. He never would sell it. He was offered good money. The car was parked outside. It kept going down hill. He eventually sold it to his nephew. Still parked outside, water in the floorboards. At some time the engine and transmission were sold. The nephew was going to restore it. Disassembled the whole car. Soon all the parts were stolen. Then it was a hull, still sitting outside. The nephew finally gave it up last month and now is your chance to buy it. It is an original LS6 Chevelle with a special order orange paint as denoted on the trim tag and the dash on the firewall. White stripes, interior and vinyl top. 4.10 posi rear. Bench seat auto on the column, AM radio. Now it is a gutted body, the frame and the original 4.10 LS6 rearend. That is all that's left. But the paperwork is good. It has the original Protect-O-Plate with the number that matches the rearend, the original loan documents and promissory note. Clear title.
