For sale by Owner: 2006 Honda CBR 1000rr I am selling my 2006 CBR 1000rr, This bike is super nice and the pictures do not do it any justice, its a showstopper! I purchased the bike not too long ago from a close friend who was the 2nd owner, making me the 3rd. It was originally blue and yellow, google the images if you arent familiar, it wasnt my favorite color combo so I opted to change them out to what you currently see and it couldnt look any better! The fairing kit is the similar kit to what Valentino Rossi had on his CBR during his motogp days riding for Honda, he has always been known to be colorful and this bike shows it! The original kit had age on it, NO IT WAS NOT LAID DOWN, thats usually the 1st question, I also replaced the grips and bar ends, my friend had the metal style grips w/ built in bar ends that were spiked, terribly uncomfortable so I put on NEW black grips and black bar ends with the "RR" logo embossed on them. Also has the yellow matching rear seat cowl for whoever buys the bike, I just installed the rear factory seat,has smoked front turn signals and a tinted windscreen as well! I just changed the oil and filter w/ Honda oil and filter as well as changed out the factory stator cover, It wasnt scratched or scraped like most, I changed it only to fit with the style the of bike better in my opinion, it has the CBR 1000 RR logo engraved it and its black. I just replaced the battery a few days ago as well, So its NEW. Bike has Akrapovic aftermarket exhaust on it and it sounds amazing on these big-bore bikes! That is the only aftermarket performance item on the bike. Also has a fender eliminator bracket around the exhaust,more just like a tag holder. Has NEW tires both front and back w/ under 250 miles on them, they are perfect! I also applied wheel stripes as seen in the photos on both sides of the wheels, Just goes better with the bikes current color. and ive applied carbon fiber bits to the gas tank cover,hesd cover and the gauge surround. Bike has 26k miles, Everything ive listed above that Ive done has exactly 1 mile on it since being done!! I have not ridden but 1 mile to the gas station to fill it up,93 octance of course, so its also got a full tank! Id love to ride it and if it doesnt sell I will be, But I have a baby due in 2 months and selling this would be the responsible thing to do. All in all this bike is ready to go, Needs nothing other than a garage and a rider!
