2001 Porsche BoxsterThis Boxster is a garage queen! If you have been searching for a near perfect Boxster with incredibly low miles, your search is over...This is a 2 owner car, with the second owner purchasing it in 2003 with under 5,000 miles. Except for rare excursions, this Porsche has been parked in a garage for the last 5 years (he is in his 70's and can no longer drive it). It has always been washed by hand, never through a car wash. It has never been driven on salted roads.The previous owner claims it has never even been parked outside overnight, nor has it ever been driven in the rain. Zero accidents.As such, the car is super clean and is one of the nicest Boxsters we have ever seen. With less than 12,000 original miles, this is one Boxster that you will not want to get away! Keep in mind it is 11 years old, and therefore it is not perfect, but it is close! We'll give you a verbal tour in and around the car as well as a good amount of photos so you can see for yourself. If you have any questions regarding this Porsche, please ask!EXTERIOR: The silver exterior still shines like new. Expect a few very minor stone chips on the nose. There is one small scratch on the driver's side front fender (approximately 1" long, photographed). There are no other imperfections found on the paint or body. The wheels do not have any curb rash. Of course, there is no rust, being that this car has never seen a winter.INTERIOR: The blue leather seats are near perfect. Everything works as it should. The dash and instrument cluster are fault free. The Original Floor Mats show some minor wear, but they have done their job of protecting the carpeting. Power windows, power locks, heated seats, and CD player all work as they should.TOP: The top is like new, with only very minor wear showing on the rear window. The power top works perfectly. Headliner is like new.MECHANICAL: The 2.7 liter, 217 hp 6 cylinder motor idles smooth and accelerates enthusiastically. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly. This Boxster runs and drives as well and as tight as you would expect a Porsche with less than 12,000 easy miles on it would. There are no mechanical repairs needed. The original Continental tires have great tread and hold air, but do have some weatherchecking because of their age (and from sitting the vast majority of the past 5 years).OTHER: The remote key fob functions as it should. Included in the sale is a factory Porsche Car Cover with bag and lock, front OE license plate bracket and Owner's Manual and Welcome Packet.
