This is a 1966 Ford F100, 4X4, Camper Special, Custom Cab truck in great shape. My granddad was the original owner and it has never left our family. I got it about 5 years ago and what started as a weekend project resulted in a complete two year off-frame restoration. This included complete media blasting of all metal, frame, etc. The frame, inner fenders, A-arms and several of other pieces have been powder coated; all metal on truck is either the original, re-worked metal or purchased NOS; No bolt has been left unturned and many new generation items have been added, to include: Sky Jacker suspensioin, Jackit poly bushings and new track bar; new drag link, sleeve, and tie rod ends; new Benchwork Steering Systems steering box and intermedate steering shaft; a Vintage Air heater, defrost, AC unit; front disc brakes; Mallory electronic ignition and spark plug wires; Ron Francis Retro series wiring harness; 55 gallon gas/tool box; tilt Ididit steering column; custom aluminum worked dash; custom hand made steel rear bumber, 390 FE engine; March aluminum 3 pulley set, Edlebrock Performer aluminum intake, carb (600 CFM electric Choke), water pump, and air cleaner; K&N air filter; new 4 core radiator, aluminum headers attached to 3 inch exhaust with flow master mufflers; new carpet; matching wrapped seat, door boxes, and sun visors; 5 aluminum American Racing rims mounted with AT tires; and many more small details not listed. The entire cab (inside/out) as well as the bed have been coated with rubber bed liner. Although I spent about $3K on the paint, there are some areas where it has not stuck very good. This is a rock solid truck which can be a daily driver or Sunday curser which posts on average 16 MPG’s. This is a zero rust Texas truck which has been garage kept since restored; however, this wasn't built to be a "show" truck and as such you should expect for it to have some bumps and bruises. According to Ford MC, there were less than 200 of these trucks (Camper Special, Custom Cab, 4x4) made in 1966. I have well over $21K just in parts (I have all receipts) alone so serious bidders only.
