Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a fabulous 1930 Ford Model A Woody station Wagon. This is a correct professional body off nut & bolt show restoration with only 339 test miles that I purchased from a museum collection. Everything on the car was done including all mechanicals throughout. This car is ready to be taken to any AACA event or M.A.R.C. judging. There is still time to take this car to Hershey coming up in the beginning of October. The paint is flawless as is all the bright work. The color of the front section is Manilla Brown and is correct and the only color offered on the station wagon. The fenders and wheels are black as were all Model A’s like this off the line. All the wood is done and is outstanding. The top and all the seats are done in the correct black grain as per judging standards and done by Lebaron Bonney. Everything is in top working order and the car pulls very strong like a great fresh restoration should be. Under the rear of the body is the metal compartment for the side curtains that are sometimes not there. The curtains were never ordered and are available from Lebaron Bonney as a complete kit. The reason this was left out was that the man that restored the car did not like all the clips on the beautiful wood body and could not bring it to himself to put them on as the wood is so nice. I too thought about it and left it alone because I have others and it didn’t matter to me. It’s a matter of taste, however though if you are to judge the car they will take some points off for not having them. The car also has the original jack, jack extension, crank and some tools, (see picture). The car also has the complete seating with the car including the third row rear seat. These tilt and can easily be removed just as they did when new. All the correct brackets, scuff floor plates and every piece of hardware are here and correct. Many times on station wagons many of these pieces are very hard to find. Please do not be confused between depot hacks or huckster body cars, these are much easier to make up but this is the real deal here and this is where the value is when it comes to wood body cars. I am selling this wagon because of a space issue and have it priced right so someone can get a fresh correct show car for a little less than one that has been used up. Don’t let this one get away, it’s a beauty. Best of luck to all. I accept all checks, money orders and credit cards including Pay-Pal, personal checks must clear my bank before I can let the car go. A deposit from the winning bidder of $ 1000.00 will hold the car till you can come and see or have the car picked up and if this car is not as described in this add I will refund your deposit back to you in full 100% No Questions Asked. I can arrange shipping for you door to door if you wish and will be more than happy to accommodate you in any way to make buying your car a safe and easy transaction. Here are some examples; I use Passport Transport for many of my cars and have been very happy over the years. Call them at; 1-866-582-3185 and ask for John Scharff at ext: 2305 or John Bray at ext: 2307 and give him my name, Joe Todaro from Bedford Hills, New York zip code 10507 and your information for an exact quote to your door. I also have a couple of other transporters that I have used as well and have found them also very good to deal with should you wish to get a comparison. One of them is “Stooney’s Transport”, Ask for Noel DeMarsico at ; 908-966-1127 cell. The next one is Kevin O’Neill, D.K.R. Enterprises, Enclosed Transportation at 201-317-3262 cell, DKR595@comcast.net The final carrier is “Town to Town Transporting”, ask for Rich Letterer at 1-802-375-9244 or 1-802-375-5117, he is a private carrier who I recommend and will travel within 400 miles from the New York area. Give any of these carriers a call and give them my name and zip code above and your information so you can get an exact quote door to door. I invite each and every one of you who are truly interested in bidding on this fine car to see it for yourself and to ask questions should you have any details you wish to know about and I will be happy to help in anyway I can. You may email me at, jt1647@aol.com or call me on my private business line day or night at; 914-666-4780 or better yet on my Cell at; 914-413-3092
