Here for sale is a 2003 GTI VR6 24valve with 6spd manual transmission. I purchased this car a few months back and have done major work to it. The motor that it came with was no good. I purchased a long block with 55k miles and disassembled the motor completely, then performed a complete rebuild with all new parts and components, the cylinder head was also completely rebuild. The following parts were replaced with brand new components: Rod and main bearing set, piston rings, engine block gasket set, cylinder head gasket set, cylinder head bolts, timing chain kit, cam adjusters and solenoids, water pump, coolant flange with crack pipe and thermostat, spark plugs and ignition coils, serpentine belt, fuse box (top of battery),radiator and both fans, thermo switch, flywheel and pressure plate bolts were replaced. The cylinder walls were honed and the crank was polished and balanced. The flywheel and clutch kit has approx 5k miles in it. The A/C works perfectly, the transmission shifts smoothly, the tires have plenty of life (approx 60%). The keyless remote works, windows works, interior is fairly clean (normal wear for its age), the headliner is starting to sag in the rear (typical). The radio sounds perfect, is missing the little plastic knobs, but work perfectly. The paint is shiny with some knicks here and there, pretty much normal everyday driving wear but nothing major.All lights and electrical components work, the alarm works. I have driven it for over 2 weeks and have put over 300 miles with no problems whatsoever this car drives how it should be. I am a certified V.W. and Audi technician so rest assured that every minor detail in regards to safety and performance have been gone through. I will keep it but need a bigger vehicle.
