You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS! THIS IS A VERY UNIQUE CLASSIC CAR WITH A TASTE OF LUXURY AND MUSCLE! READ THE DESCRIPTION AND CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS! LOW RESERVE!1966 Ford Thunderbird CustomIntroduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I just opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public five days a week. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale with a few of them being on consignment. We also offer used cars, memorabilia and automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 36 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. DescriptionYou're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS! I’m proud to present a one-of-a-kind 1966 Ford Thunderbird Landau Custom street machine. In all the years I’ve been around classic cars I’ve never seen a custom 1966 Thunderbird. This 1966 Thunderbird is absolutely beautiful. The car is a perfect combination of classy and sporty. It has a lot of style with its unique body lines. This car underwent a full restoration that took years to complete. Every nut and bolt has been turned and replaced on this car as the photos will indicate. This car was built to be a everything anyone could ask for. It’s a great mixture of factory, Pro touring, Pro Street and resto-mod. It kind of reminds me of a Thunderbird version of a Fairlane Thunderbolt. THIS CAR IS SO COOL! The fourth generations Thunderbirds were very popular and Ford sold 64,127 hardtop Landau units with a starting price tag of $4,552.00. Even though it was the last year of the generation 1966 saw a stylistic version for the Thunderbird highlighted by a new egg-crate style grille with large Thunderbird emblem at its center and a new rear fascia with the brake lights restyled to appear as one unit. Here’s what the trim tag reads on this car: Body: 63 D = 2 door Landau Special Q code (428 engine 4V ) Color: Q = Brittany Blue Trim: 22 = Blue Date: 213= 21st day of March DSO: 16 = Philadelphia Axle: 3:00 ( equa lock ) Trans 4: 3-speed Dual Range Automatic. During the restoration some of the sheet metal was replaced such as the front floor section and rear quarters. During the restoration the vinyl top was removed and the door handles and trunk buttons were shaved for that smooth look. It also doesn’t have wipers or windows to continue that smooth look. All of the parts are included to put the wipers and windows in if the new buyer chooses to. It looks so much better with no vent window because of the long window that makes for that stylish coupe design. It was finished in its original Brittany blue which is PPG base coat/clear coat finish. The paint on this car is in great condition and near prefect! Everything on the exterior has been restored or is new. It’s been wrapped in new American Racing Torque Thrust original style wheels that are 15x7 with Goodyear P215/75/15 tires. The blue exterior is complimented with a new custom black interior with many upgrades. Some of the upgrades include painless wiring and fuse box, custom dash with custom Autometer gauges and switches including a push start button (the switches are fuel pump, electric fan, map lights and trunk release), the console was deleted for the B&M Bandit floor shifter which works great, Grant GT steering wheel and Corbeau bucket seats. The dash, door panels, headliner, rear seats, etc are all new and in great condition. This car is very comfortable to sit in with plenty of room to relax. The best part of this car is what’s under the hood. This isn’t grandmas Thunderbird! This car was originally had a 428 engine as the Q code indicates. It was replaced with an amazing Ford 390 FE engine which was completely rebuild with the best components! This engine runs and sounds AMAZING!!!! Read what this engine has: 9.6:1 speed Pro Forged Pistons .030 over Comp Cams 270H Hydraulic flat Tappet Cam Edelbrock Timing Chain Set Ford “R” code heads, 74CC, upgrade to 2.10 intake, 1.60 exhaust Dove roller tip rockers, shafts, stands and pushrods Blue Thunder Cobra Jet Aluminum intake Holley 4160 750 CFM vacuum secondary Mallory fuel pump and regulator Edelbrock aluminum water pump High torque mini starter MSD 6Al ignition Stainless braided fuel lines that connect to the new RCI 15 gallon fuel cell in trunk The engine starts immediately and runs extremely smooth. It doesn’t take a long time to warm up and sounds incredible out the Ford Powertrain headers, 2 ½ mandrel bent exhaust pipes and Magnaflow mufflers. The engine is cooled by a Griffin Aluminum radiator that was custom mounted with an electric fan. It runs very cool in any weather conditions. The engine is coupled with a newly rebuilt Ford C-6 transmission with shift kit. It shifts excellent in both the city and on the highway. The power is transferred through the Ford 9” rear end with 3:00 POSI traction. It has a B&M hole shot 2400 torque converter. It stops quickly with the chrome master cylinder and front disc Chevy conversation on 64 Ford spindles. This car has well over $35,000 just in body, paint and parts not including all the labor. If you wanted this car built it would cost over $50,000! If you’re in the market for a really sweet street machine that is different from your more common classic cars this is for you. It’s a great car with not only great looks but the power to back it up. I’ve priced this car very competitive and don’t have many cars in this price range so I expect it to sell quickly. Get it before someone else does! Conclusion Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro
