Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my daily driver. I'm still driving daily, but it has developed an engine noise that I have decided not to fix. Time for a GTO or a G6!:) Its not a rod knock, more of an upper end/valvetrain noise and/or a possible piston noise. Also present is a check engine light and a rough idle. Non related to driveability, it also has ABS and traction control lights on at times. These lights coming on seem to coincide with the replacement of the front wheel bearings, so I am thinking a wheel sensor got damaged in the process. There are "key job" scratches on all four doors, and a minor dent on the left rear door/quarter. See pictures. The key marks have been painted over, and were there when I bought the car. Overall not super noticable, and the car looks great otherwise. In the last 12 months, BOTH front wheel bearings have been replaced. In the last 6 months it has had a tune up, all four tires have been replaced, and the vehicle aligned. The car has been my daily driver since I bought it in Feb of 2011, and I have put over 50,000 miles on it since. Its NEVER left me stranded, even now with the engine noise. I love the car, and its super fun to drive. I have just decided to move on, and not repair the noise. I did some cosmetic upgrades, like the 5% tint all around, blacked out tail lights and reverse bar, and the needed NoBama stickers;) I installed a Parrott bluetooth handsfree kit and an ipod interface as well. It allows handsfree calling from ANY bluetooth enabled phone, over the radio speakers. The ipod kit allows you to play your ipod/iphone over the factory radio, (hardwired for better sound) through the satellite radio input. The ipod and bluetooth kits can be left in the car for an additional $250 over the winning bid. Otherwise I will remove them and use in my next car. It also has factory XM/Sirius satellite radio and On Star. The A/C still blows ice cold, and the heated seats actually work! All options/power accessories work. Its got all the bells and whistles, like Heads Up Display, speed sensative radio volume, dual heated seats, power drivers seat, Monsoon premium sound with 6 disc changer and subwoofer, satellite radio, OnStar, remote keyless entry and trunk release, power glass moonroof, tap/paddle shift, MPG computer, Boost guage, etc. Other than the left rear mentioned above, there is NO body damage. The leather interior is flawless, as are all the plastics, door panels, dash, etc. SO, if you are mechanically inclined, or know someone who is, this would be a great way to get a great car at a great price! KBB LISTS THE CAR AT $7325 RETAIL, AND $5300 PRIVATE PARTY. EVEN WITH THE MILEAGE. DUE TO THE MECHANICAL ISSUES I WOULD SELL FOR A THIRD OF THAT!
