Vehicle Detail
Look!! Here it is my baby! Classic 1977 Toyota Celica Liftback (Stock). This has been a restore project for the last couple years. I wanted to restore this car to its original showroom look in 1977. Did not quite get there. Money getting funny! Anyway as you can see it is a very nice looking car. Painted Black metal flake with black interior. Runs very well, recent work professional carb rebuilt, replace front oil seal, new catalytic convertor. Car has AC but not cold, I tried one of the those do it yourself retrofit R12 to R134 air conditioning kits. Note: they don't work to good! Needs professional attention. Car is in decent shape overall. Most everything works. Gauges, clock, radio, all lights. The ESP unit does not seem to work. I don't even know what that thing is suppose to do really so it is disconnected. What else huh! Has dash cap, was not able to find a real dash in good shape. Dash cap best solution for now. Front seats are good, rear seat a a small tear on the upper left side, bench is good a small spot were the stitching is stressed.Mileage reads 22,830 but I would probably guess it is 122830 at least (Car sat for 9years prior to me getting it) I guess the biggest down side I can tell you is that prior to painting. I did the prep work, minor fills and repair all the dings, let's just say it like it is am a rookie! Then I was smart enough to paint is black to where every imperfection shows. Result was high spots, some waving and poor sanding spots. I saying this because the Pictures really don't show that kind of detail. Also only mechanical attention needed that I know of is it is time to replace Struts and shocks for smoother ride. I think it still has the originals from 1977. This is a California car but last registered in WA. Car has never been to WA. This was done because California is stupid when is comes to registering old cars! If anyone of you are from California you know what I am talking about. Clean Title! Anyway I had been selling a lot of parts for these cars to many of you on ebay but this is the first complete car I am selling. I don't have to tell you how rare these are getting because you already know! I am going to say this is a pretty good one consider what is out there these days! So if you are interested please bid to win!
