Description: Modified 1957 Volvo PV 444 with B18 engine, dual SU HS-6 carbs. Originally 6V, converted to 12V. Cuckoo and front grill from earlier Swedish models. Fenders, trunk, hood, and radiator from later models. Features: Transmission & gearbox oil changeout (2007) Rubber interior floor mats (2007) Monroe rear shocks (2007) Front suspension (2006) - rebuilt king pins, idler arm, steering rods, tie rod ends & rebushed front control arms. Steering box completely rebuilt. Rebuilt carbs (2005) Upgraded to front disc brakes (2005) - Disc brakes are Scandix rotors, 3 piston calipers, new brake lines, Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve. Pertronix electronic ignition, spark plugs wires and distributor cap (2005) Exhaust system (2005) Permacool 8# electric fans (2005) Koni front shocks (2005) Bosch alternator (2004) Anti-sway bars front and rear (2003) Blaupunkt radio and Pioneer speakers Seller has the title. Car doesn't start, it is the ignition switch it shorted out, needs new switch and coupe short wires redone. Can probaly hot wire it to start, but not sure. Also needs front seats. Car is sold as-is. May be able to assist w/ delivery within a reasonable distance of Abilene TX for a fee. Buyer to arange for delivery. Due to the large number of emails offering information about this car and offers given, I am not willing to lower the starting bid. I will let the auction run its course. This is a rare car with rare parts. The front grille I have been told is very rare.
