I am selling a very cool 1957 oval window VW Bug. Custom paint and interior to match with a real german lugage rack and a expert built 1600 cc engine custom built by a very reputable shop dual port heads with mild port work dual carbs mechanical advance distributer fully merged exaust 9.5 to 1 compression ratio mild cam and more lowerd rear suspension and ajustable front good tires fresh paint and interior strong battery ready to roll needs head liner and new carpet look closly at the body and paint this car was painted profesionaly to have a rat rod or old school feel and is not perfect some character was left intentionaly. I hate to sell this car but need the money. check out the ghost skulls in the paint. This is a good solid car with no rust in body or pan. I also have a 1958 builder if itererested on a 57 pan(sand blasted body and pan only)On Aug-27-12 at 19:40:21 PDT, seller added the following information: It should also be noted the 1957 body has been installed on a 1665 pan. This was done intentionally as the 1965 pan is much stronger and needed for the higher horsepower and torque associated with larger displacment engines. current dmv reg. reads 1965
