Hi Up for sale is a 1997 Toyota Tacoma. Exterior Color: Red Interior Color: Tan Transmission: 5 speed Manual Mileage: 16,000 Currently the car has a rebuilt title. The car was in an accident where the fender got damaged, but the insurance company claim a total loss on the car. However, my father who has more than 20 years of experience in the body shop/auto sale industry was able to repair the car and get it inspected by the state. The car's alignment was fine and there was no frame damage to the car when inspected by the state. It title states a rebuilt title issued by the state of Illinois The car needs an alignment and two front tires in terms of repair. Someone forgot to secure the battery while the car was being driven. The battery moved around and ended up pushing the steering pump hose into the fan of the car causing a tear in the steering pump hose. While making a left turn the alignment got thrown off due to the low steering fluid on the car. The hose has been replaced and filled with steering fluid. The need for the alignment is due to that and NOT when the car was in the fender accident. (NO FRAME DAMAGE) The reason for selling the car is that my parents are moving and need to move the truck out. The battery has already been replaced with a new one. The only major thing is the alignment and tires in terms of repairs. Otherwise, you are looking at minimal cost to make this car brand new. The price on the car is fair even with the rebuilt title. The mileage on the car are the actual miles. There are no problems to the engine and transmission. My father has sold plenty of rebuilt cars over the years and kept this truck knowing the mileage and condition of the car. The price is set for the buyer to get a great deal on the truck. This is the lowest we are letting the truck go for. Please do not ask if we can go lower on the price. We know that is a 15 year old truck. This will also be the final time posting on ebay. If you have any questions, please do ask. **I WAS ABLE TO FIND OUT THE REASON FOR THE REBUILT TITLE IS THAT THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAW THAT THE CAR WOULD NOT START THINKING IT WAS TOTALED. MY FATHER BOUGHT THE CAR AND FOUND OUT THAT SOMETHING WAS NOT PLUGGED CORRECTLY THAT WOULD NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO START. ONCE WE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM, IT STARTED AND RUNS WELL**
