Yes this is one GORGEOUS 65' Pontiac Tempest Custom Two Door Hardtop and it only has 21,124 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since brand new (yes we do have an odometer statement) and has always been garaged and it shows ! We have been asked to sell this BEAUTY by the very fussy local collector who is in his seventies and a good friend of ours. As it states above this car was bought brand new April 12, 1965 by Theresa Ceci from Ruckle Pontiac in Yonkers, New York. This is all documented with the ORIGINAL Pontiac 1965 owner protection plan book with the Pontiac Protect - O - Plate still attached showing her name and address and date of delivery, her name and address noted on the Delco warranty page and her name and address noted on the ORIGINAL folder from Ruckle Pontiac, all of this is shown in pictures below, WOW !! The second owner who is retired and is a Pontiac collector bought this car at a car show in White Plains, New York in 1997. He has owned at least one of every year GTO from 1964 to 1974 starting with a 1964 GTO he received from his father in 1964 as a graduation present. Five years ago he moved to Naples, Florida and the car moved with him. In the ten years he owned the car he put less than 300 miles on the car and kept it in a climate controlled garage. The third and current owner who is also retired and in his seventies bought the car July 28,2007 and at that time it had 16,178 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles !! This Stunning Pontiac Tempest is a mostly ORIGINAL survivor with 21,124 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles !! It's hard to describe how NICE and ORIGINAL this Tempest Two Door Hardtop really is. Even all of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are still clear, bright and in NICE shape and all of the headlights are original - correct - "T3" coded. This is a tight and solid Tempest Custom Two Door Hardtop which runs EXTREMELY well. Yes this is one GORGEOUS 65' Pontiac Tempest Custom Two Door Hardtop and it only has 21,124 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since brand new (yes we do have an odometer statement) and has always been garaged and it shows ! We have been asked to sell this BEAUTY by the very fussy local collector who is in his seventies and a good friend of ours. As it states above this car was bought brand new April 12, 1965 by Theresa Ceci from Ruckle Pontiac in Yonkers, New York. This is all documented with the ORIGINAL Pontiac 1965 owner protection plan book with the Pontiac Protect - O - Plate still attached showing her name and address and date of delivery, her name and address noted on the Delco warranty page and her name and address noted on the ORIGINAL folder from Ruckle Pontiac, all of this is shown in pictures below, WOW !! The second owner who is retired and is a Pontiac collector bought this car at a car show in White Plains, New York in 1997. He has owned at least one of every year GTO from 1964 to 1974 starting with a 1964 GTO he received from his father in 1964 as a graduation present. Five years ago he moved to Naples, Florida and the car moved with him. In the ten years he owned the car he put less than 300 miles on the car and kept it in a climate controlled garage. The third and current owner who is also retired and in his seventies bought the car July 28,2007 and at that time it had 16,178 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles !! This Stunning Pontiac Tempest is a mostly ORIGINAL survivor with 21,124 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL miles !! It's hard to describe how NICE and ORIGINAL this Tempest Two Door Hardtop really is. It still retains its VERY STRONG - ORIGINAL - correctly Coded - code "YN" - 326 CID V8 motor and it runs GREAT. A chrome air cleaner housing and OEM chrome valve covers have been put on the engine by the second owner to dress it up a little bit but the original air cleaner housing and valve covers come with the car and are shown in two pictures below. The engine is backed by a smooth two speed - powerglide - automatic transmission which also functions like new. The ORIGINAL - Code "211" - Gold and Bronze imitation leather interior is what I would call PRISTINE, shows very little to no wear and still smells like new with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Gold and Bronze imitation leather front seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Gold and Bronze imitation leather rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL dash with imitation wood panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's, PERFECT ORIGINAL Bronze padded dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE Custom Sports steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Gold and Bronze door panels, NICE ORIGINAL carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL sunvisors with a FACTORY ORIGINAL ACCESSORIE vanity mirror on the passenger side and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL headliner with the correct little stars in it, NEAT !!.
