Selling this Mercedes Gullwing chassis for a local customer. Dont know much about this other than what we were told. He gave us the 300 SL chassis along with other 190SL engine parts to sell. A little history of the car shows how unique these cars are, how rare it is to find parts for them and the high value of the remaining cars that still exist. This unit can help you repair you build a Gullwing of your own. We included a couple pictures of the Mercedes original drawing of the Gullwing without its body and another picture of the chassis (and body) being built from the ground up. The specs of this chassis is ideal to start a Gullwing of your own. This chassis is pretty is close to original specs, with regards to size and dimensions It can accommodate the Gullwing doors, and can be the start of a very high dollar Gullwing unit. This auction is for the rolling chassis only as you see it along with a comparable 190SL dataplate and a 190 SL Vintage title which matches the dataplate .
