Vehicle Detail
What you see here is a 1929 Ford Model A Tudor sedan that has charm written all over it. This beautiful example has been thoroughly restored, and the quality of the work speaks for itself. Painted in French Gray over black fenders, the colors are nicely broken up at the beltline with the subtle double orange pinstripe. Although finished a few years ago, you can still see the money and passion that was put into making this one special. After the paint was complete, they installed an imitation leather roof, rear view mirror and sun shield. For additional storage, a period-correct storage trunk was installed on the rear deck. Paint, nickel trim and body gaps are all in above average condition, especially compared to the other Model As you can typically find out there on the circuit. Moving inside, you can clearly see that quality workmanship was invested here as well. The interior seats have been covered in light olive mo-hair, and it looks great against the French Gray over black exterior. The moldings, hinges, trim and additional details were well-planned, and the overall effect is that of a period-correct car thats been wonderfully maintained, rather than that of an undriveable trailer queen. The engine is tight and nicely detailed. Power is provided by the familiar L-head 4 cylinder, cast en bloc type. A Zenith one-barrel carburetor feeds fuel to the engine, which is bolted a 3-speed manual transmission. Youll find the undercarriage to be almost as pleasing to look at as it feels when youre cruising to the next show. This car is ready to be enjoyed, the current owner has seen to that. Little has to be done to this car by the next owner, and if youve been looking at purchasing a Model A, this one should definitely be on your short list. This car has won over 100 trophies in car shows. There are some minor cracking of the paint on 3 of the fenders; other than that the car is in immaculate condition. If you would like more information call me 636-485-3201. I am too busy to show the car and it sets.
