Vehicle Detail
I bought this car to drive. I didnt realize my bad back would be such a problem. So, this car is mechanicly pretty good. I rebuilt the wheel cylinders, master cylinder, cleaned, adjusted, syncronized, and replaced one float in the SU carbs. put in another generator,a new voltage regulator, sorted out all wiring labled wires at regulator. That is SOME of the things. I bought the car from an 80 year old man who retired here in the Ozarks from California. There is a completely disasembled and boxed up parts car that goes with it. Some parts that have been replaced from this car are, generator, drivers window, engine, transmission, rear end, brake calipers, and misc. others. ALL the rebuildable parts will be included in this sale. Some of these are engine, transmission independent rear differential calipers . EVERYTHING has been stored inside except parts car body parts they are in a tarp covered trailer. ALL bolts , everything , else is boxed up in my shop. The old fella I bought it from got too old to fool with it any more. I have had the car a little over a year. He had owned it since 1971. His late wife had been rearended in it at one time so one rear wing, or fender is gone from the parts car. All body parts are just sitting on the frame un bolted parts car frame. The old man had purchased a new top in 1992 and never put it on. I got installment tips from Vintage Triumph, via internet, and put it on. It is not a perfect job but it doesnt leak, and you can see from the pix that it looks,, ok. I repainted the frame for the top before install. The dash wood has been stripped of its glossy finish, and stained. The radio has been replaced with an AM/FM . There is an old Triumph AM radio in one of the parts boxes. There is also 4 extra wire wheels with adapters. ALL the wheels need refinishing, but are not unsafe. I know this is too much discription but Ive never tried selling on EBAY before. And like I said, I had not meant to sell this car so didnt worry too much about (PRETTY).
