1928 Ford Model A Tudor Offered for sale is a 1928 Ford Model A Tudor. The car is in excellent working order. It fires right up and runs with no issues. It is a pleasure to drive! Overall the car is a decent driver quality car. Quite frankly, the pictures probably make the car look a little bit better than it is in person. There is no rust and the car is quite solid. There are a number of minor paint issues and the car is by no means in mint condition. It is an older car with some patina. The interior is quite nice with an excellent floor, seats and headliner. We have owned this wonderful Model A for over 20 years. The car apparently had an older restoration by a previous owner. Quite recently the engine compartment was restored with the block being sanded down and fresh paint applied. A that time the high performance head and other engine components were installed. The current engine is an AA truck engine installed before we owned the car. The number on the engine is *AA1735348*. The VIN on the title is A380248. That number corresponds to a build date of August 30th 1928. I have no reason to doubt the VIN on the title as NJ is quite strict about VIN numbers. I have not had the body off of the frame to verify the VIN in person. The car is indeed only one color. In the pictures it appears if the hood section is a different color but it is not. i will try and add some additional pictures.... The coating is a long term protection and will not rust or corrode. The stainless steel Aires muffler is true to the original design and has the same terrific Model A 'putt putt sound'. The muffler has mandrill bending maintaining the full cross-section at all points along the pipe. The design of the pipe provides low back-pressure which equates to an increase in power over a stock exhaust system. The few items needing attention include the tires will need replacing, steering wheel is in rough shape, the emergency brake needs to be adjusted and a few other small odds and ends.
