1969 Pontiac Bonneville 428 C.I. converted to a professional car by the Superior Coach Co.Build out date was 12-10-1968. This is a project car that does run,shift, and stop. It was revived by me after years of storage.It does have body damage to the tailgate. which does still function. The skin would need to be straighted or replaced as well as the rear tailgate glass. It had a piece of cracked plexiglass in it. The odometer shows 43,875 miles The car was sold new within 50 miles of it's present location.There are minor rust issues and an assortment of dents on the body. the paint is dead, It does come with a replacement front valance panel. Only 447 Bonneville chassis were supplied in 1969 to various converters. For certain most were made on the shorter wheelbase. This is 1 of 75 long wheelbase cars converted in '69. This one is as long as a modern extended cab pickup and weighs aprox. 6000 lbs. built in Kosciusko,Mississippi,U.S.A.I bought it several years ago to use the engine in another pontiac project. The 428 is a YH code block with no.46 heads.and the original Q-Jet carb.It uses a High output motorola alternator .The cars new parts are the 1969 only ignition switch, distributor,wires,coil,water pump,belts,and hoses radiator cap It's missing the A/Ccompressor,but all other pieces are in place.It is riding on buick riviera road wheels and old radials, but the original heavy duty Kelsey Hayes steel wheels and superior coach wire hubcaps are included.While this car does run, I would highly recommend towing it and going thru all the basic systems , Remember, I was only interested in the engine/trans for my project and spent little time fixing any of the 43 year olds other systems ,It comes with a parts and service manual superior pontiac supplement.. There is an old yellow rotating light that's in a storage area under the rear deck. the back does have the casket rollers and adjustable stops.2 plexiglass signs are in the window holders that spell out ambulance. I would assume that the mortuary would replace these with theirs at the appropriate time. It does have curtain rods above the windows. The curtains are missing. Quite a few rocker switches in the driver area between the sun-visors. I do not know what these controlled.There is a rear air conditioner unit .
