This car was sitting in a import parts yard being stripped of parts until I rescued it in January 2003. The car was taken straight to a body shop and stripped of moldings, mirrors, headlights, taillights, and glass. The vehicle was hit on the drivers side (thats why the salvaged title) and was placed on a Genesis frame machine and straighten back to stock specs. I had it painted a two stage Acura NSX long beach blue pearl and still have the receipt $2463.26. I transported it back to my friends shop (Special Effect Performance) and we gutted the stock d15z6 and transplanted the Japan spec H22A. Motor mounts are from Hasport wire harness was redone by a shop in Cali can't remember there name. All belts, hoses and water pump were replace before installation. The engine management is by Hondata s200 with 2 step rev limiter. In 2003 I was sponsored by STR so the engine was outfitted with fuel rail, cam gears, oil cap and throttle body. The transmission wasn't limited slip so I installed race ready Phantom Grip. I had all front bushings that could be pressed out replaced with urethane bushings. The front end was stiffened with a Totem Traction bar to prevent wheel hop. Extended wheel studs where installed front and back from Skunk. Radiator was replaced with Fluidyne high performance. The shocks are KYB with coil overs unknown what kind. Stock header and exhaust. Wheels are Roja 17x7 with 205/40/17. Note all these parts were pretty much the first of the first for H22 back in the day so don't laugh. Getting rid of it because I lost interest and its time for someone else to have fun.
