1976 Pontiac Trans Am 50th anniversary edition Hello, being offered for your consideration is a 1976 Pontiac Trans Am 50th anniversary edition. This car belongs to a friend of mine, he bought it about 1 year ago. It had 2 owners that he knows of prior to him buying it. The cars has been driven very little in the past 5-6 years. It has the original motor & transmission, 400 with factory air, & an automatic transmission. The car runs & drives, the engine has a miss. Were thinking a tune-up, plugs, wires, and fresh gas may take care of it. At least the hood probably more has been painted at some time, the bird has been over sprayed. The original exhaust manifold is in the trunk, the car has headers on it. The car is 36 years old and needs to be restored, it should be an easy restoration. It would make a great family project car.
