You are bidding on a 2000 Mercedes Benz S500. Selling this car for a family friend because of my outstanding track record selling vehicles on eBay. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR, BUT DOES RUN AND DRIVE.There are 171,501 miles on the car. The engine is quiet with no knocking or ticks and the transmission shifts smoothly. HID headlights and fully loaded! A new air ride control module has been installed last week and last year a new compressor was installed last year. AREAS THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED: Check engine light ( EXACT Codes will be displayed by Thursday 9th by 6pm EST.)ABS and SRS light is onIdles a little rough Needs 2 front tiresNeeds brakes (Probably pads and rotors, lines seem OK)Windows will not move (Sunroof Does)No flooring in the trunkSometimes the car will not turn off when you take the key out, so to turn it off you need to go under the hood and cover a hole with your hand and it shuts off immediately.Needs to be jumped occasionally (Might be an electrical problem?)AC needs to be rechargedNeeds Driver Side Tail light bulbSeat belts look like they were "chewed" up but still function As mentioned, the car does need some work but is drivable. I would not recommend driving the car home mainly because of the brakes. *If a potential buyer would like to drive the car home and pay for the brakes and installation, I will have those ready to go upon pickup* The car does not seem to be leaking anything or burning oil at all and definitely does not overheat. COSMETICS Bubbled rust has started at the bottom/mid level of pretty much every door. (SEE PICTURES PLEASE) About a 5inch Dent is in the trunk lid Front and rear bumper are somewhat scratched up, nothing majorCarpets could use a cleaning, especially the driver sideSeats are in decent condition with no tears or rips, just look somewhat worn.With my long history of selling cars, I would imagine many of these electrical issues are related and could be a very simple fix, although I will not guarantee it.
