Up for auction is our 2002 Honda Accord. We purchased this car in 2009 with 149k from a 74 year old lady who claims to have did lots of highway driving. She had all the service and maintenance record. The transmission was going out when we bought the car, we had it replaced with a rebuilt one. Every since we replaced the transmission it shifts out of first gear a little longer than it should but all the other gears are perfect ( replaced the transmission at 150k with rebuilt one drives the exact same irregular first gear shift). For instance the trans shifts out of first gear on normal takeoff at 3400 rpm, this car new from the factory probably shifts out at 3100 rpm or 3k. I will get in the car right now and drive from Illinois to California and back in a heartbeat. This car has 213k miles on it however, the engine runs like it has less than 100k. This car runs and drives GREAT despite needing tires. There are NO service lights on, or NO leaks. The driver side door handle had tape on it but we took it off ( see pic). This car has ALL of its original floor mats and the original trunk mat. The passenger side has a spot on the quarter panel where the clear coat has started to peel (see pic). There are minor scuffs and scratches around the car. Overall this car is in good condition. Recommendations This car will need a set of tires soon.
