With it being a 2005 this was the last year that the Golf GTI was produced in Germany and now currently being produced in Mexico and Brazil. The paint is glossy all over with no discoloring or peeling. I wax the car at least once a month to protect this beautiful red from the deadly rays of the sun. Truly showing all the care you can still see your reflection in the paint and it honestly looks the same as it did when new! There is not a single dent of ding on the entire body. Along with keeping the paint in top order I also strived to make sure the vehicle never got all banged up. In all truth the exterior of the car looks perfect and flawless. Entire wise is the same as the exterior. No ripped seats, leather is in awesome shape and still is clean with no stains. The entire interior looks and smells new. No stains or messes anywhere inside. Carpets are all clean and look new too. Rest assured that the interior of this car is the closest you will find to a new car, compared to any other of the vehicles for sale on ebay it blows them down. No strange smells either, still smells of leather and new car! The car has been babied and well maintained the entire time I have owned it. I never run the car hard or abuse it. Adult owned. Never raced around , I drive the car honestly and enjoy its handling and braking abilities. I do not race it from stop light to stop light. It runs absolutely flawless and just had a major service performed to it less than 1k miles ago. It does not leak any fluids! Starts up and drives flawlessly every single time. No rattles or noises coming from the engine or transmission, All the mechanical items on this car work like brand and have no issues. Best of all the car is completely stock and isnt all modified with junk. It is equipped with the 1.8 liter turbo 4 cylinder motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. Clutch is still stiff and not spongy at all. Never burned on the clutch trying to launch the car or power shift. Transmission does not grind or give off any noise. It is smooth and quiet. Another nice feature about this car is the fuel economy, I average around 32 MPG with mixed driving. But when I get on the highway for long periods of time I see it jump up to around 35 mpg. This is one of the few cars that I know of that is still fun to drive and get good fuel economy. It truly is the best of both worlds.
