Previous auction winner could not pay for car! His loss is your gain reserved lowered!!! I purchased the car about 15 years ago from a guy who did a home garage restore. Car is currently a full time convertible with british racing screens and black tonneau cover in lieu of windshield and hard top. It does come with a windshield, hard top shell, and soft top frame only all of which would need to be fully restored. (Pictures attached) Body: This yellow Bugeye is in great shape. No major imperfections just the expected dings and a few paint chips here and there. There is an area on the back panel of the car that had a dent about the circumfrence of a basketball that was repaired but is still noticeable. Panels need slight adjustments, but line up well. There is rust underneath the car in the floor pan area. Paint & Trim: The paint is in good shape, still has a good shine to it. There are small imperfections as expected, but you could drive it without a re-paint depending on your plans for the car. Also, the chrome grill is in excellent condition. Tires also in very good condition. Interior: The seats are in good shape, the carpet and floor mats are in great shape, the dash has been re-done and while the blinker switch, headlight swith, oil pressure gauge, temperature guage, fuel guage, tachometer, speedometer, odometer, pull starter, all work fine I think the dash could look better. Mechanical: Car starts and runs good. Brakes and clutch are a bit soft I think a seal/gasket in the master cylinder may be bad and causing some issues. Car is still driveable as is. Had it out today. Ocassionally it seems like one of the cylinders gets stuck but I only get it out every few months or so in the summer and not at all in the winter. More frequent driving may keep this from occuring.
