Vehicle Detail
BMW 2003 Z4 2.5i for sale! Currently the vehicle has around 55,350 miles. Below will be some listed specs about the vehicle that I have thought of, and also will be a list of some the things that might need attention to the vehicle. The tires were just checked out on 06/29/12 by a local tire company and they stated the tires have about a year and a half left of tread on the vehicle depending on how the vehicle is driven. Also the vehicle has a clean Carfax and a VIN verification completed. 1) I am the second owner, bought the vehicle a little over a year ago from my girlfriend’s boss at the time. It was his weekend vehicle, and I currently drive it about every other day and at most 10-15 miles a day. 2) The vehicle has always been garage kept, and is washed and cleaned regularly. 3) The vehicle is currently black with a tan top. The top has been upgraded to have the insulation put in, can’t hear any rattling or leaks at all when driving. 4) When the vehicle was bought it got the sport package edition including shiftronic shifting, upgraded sound system, CD player, AUX adapter, and FM/AM radio with multiple settings. 5) The vehicle handles great, and has more space than you would think in the trunk. I am 6’1 and can fit into the vehicle perfectly. 6) With gas prices going up, this vehicle is perfect for someone that needs to cut down on the gas bill. The vehicle gets great gas mileage for being a V6 and a sports car. I have always put premium gas into the vehicle to help the vehicle run better and last longer. 7) Both seats have power seating; the driver has 5 memory settings for different drivers. This feature works for all the memory settings and has not had an issue with either the power seats. 8) The AC and heat work without any issue, car cools down within seconds! 9) I still have the BMW Car cover without any tears or marks, with its original BMW bag. Also have the BMW car tool set, owner’s manual, road guide, and other original misc. items that came with the vehicle when it was originally purchased in 2003. I love this car and hate to see it go, but due to work and needing something bigger I am being forced to sell it. Below are some things I have recently replaced on the vehicle and some issues that remain that I have not yet gotten to yet. 1) I recently replaced the air control sensor, which was a small but major item that needed replacing. If you have done any research on this vehicle you might have heard when BMW originally put this vehicle on the market the air control sensor box was breaking down and causing problems. BMW soon came out with an upgraded one that last longer and is more durable. I have had this item switched out to ensure this won’t be a problem again. 2) Also I just had all the belts replaced and the barring’s they rotate on replaced. 3) About 2-3 months ago I had the vehicle oil change and had them put in synthetic car oil to improve the car performance and required the vehicle to not have an oil change for another year. 4) With all cars that are a little older, there are a few scratches around the vehicle, one on the passenger driver door, and some very small ones around the front. 5) The rear rail light, the one across the trunk will need replacing, that will be roughly less than $100.00 for a brand new one unless you can find one on Ebay or Amazon for cheaper. 6) The most major repair or fixing that needs to be done is the convertible roof. The grips for the levers to push the roof up have worn down and cause the roof to need assistances to put it back up. Don’t freak out I have received several quotes from shops, including BMW themselves, and the highest it will be to replace the whole thing ranged from $150.00-$225.00. Unless you have some mechanic background it can be done easily by yourself. Besides the few scratches and the roof, there is nothing else major that is wrong with the vehicle. Vehicle was recently checked over by a local mechanic and came back without any issues and the vehicle mechanically was in great shape.
