Vehicle Detail

Here's my 1972 Ford: F250 All numbers matching. (none of the drivetrain components have ever been removed or replaced). 4x4 360 c.i./ 156 h.p. 4 speed Radio delete 131" wheelbase with 8' flareside box This one was built in Canada All sheet metal, cab, box are original and I believe the paint to be also. It was ordered in a custom color and the vin. tag color # was left blank to reflect this. This truck has spent its entire life inside our local fire dept. building and was used very sparingly. It has under 13,000 original miles!!! Yes these are true original miles. The interior is nice. Black with leather bench seat. The seat has a 2" tear on the drivers side. The dash cover is like new with no cracks or splits. She's in superb mechanical condition. Motor runs great. Tranny and 4 wheel drive are tight. All lights, blinkers, heater, gauges and misc. work as new. The exterior has nicks and scratches all over but is still a very presentable "survivor". Its got some misc. small holes from the lights and fire extinguishes that were mounted on it. Theres very little rust, mainly caused by rock chips. I did have the bottom 6" of each rear fender replaced. I painted black the area that was replaced. See the pics. She had our town name painted on doors and I just rubbed them off. The orignal split rims are long gone. The chrome wheels were on when I puchased and are decent. The tires are matching and I'd guess at 60% or so. She drives down the road nice with no shakes or rattles. Truck is pulling a bit right when I brake and I'm sure its nothing serious. The truck came with a roof light bar, a front brush gaurd, homemade side rails and rear bumper. I still have them and the new owner is welcome to them. I replaced the wood bed with new hardwood and satin black paint. I also installed a new rear bumper. Under the hood you will see a copper colored thing. It is a converter that was installed and there is a plug in on the front bumper and in the cab. It goes with the original "build sheet", original cab card, and two hand written bids. One was from the local Chevy dealer and the other from the Ford dealer. Kinda neat and obviously they chose the ford. A bit of research shows Ford built approx. 644,529 trucks in 1972 and only 3004 of them were flaresides. This one is rare or odd, you make the call. The truck is located in southern Mn. about 30 miles from Rochester Int'l or 80 miles from Mpls./St.Paul If you'd like to fly in and drive it home, I'll assist anyway I can. I am the second owner and have clear and free title in my name. I will not reveal my reserve to be fair to all bidders. Please only serious and sincere bids. You will have 3 days to put a $500 down payment in my paypal account. The balance will be paid in cash or direct wire tranfer to my bank before the truck and title are released. I can store for 10 days and longer if you contact me first. No I will not ship overseas.
