Vehicle Detail

Partial restoration complete on 1968 Triumph GT6. Many heartfelt hours have been put into the exterior restoration such as : All lettering/ emblems replaced, painted Signal red & clear coated, all new light lenses, new windshield, and engine tuned. The interior is original and in good shape, the floor board could use a little love. 91,000 orignal miles, runs great for a 44 year old car. Serious inquires only. Email with questions. Pictures will be added 7/30/12On Aug-01-12 at 14:21:23 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a MK I. On Aug-01-12 at 15:28:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is an email I received that gives a little insight in to how special this car is. Dear docjax,I own 4 GT6's as of right now.. all of them MKII's ... the body is a MKI as the hood has no side vents, the quarter panels on the rear are not vented.. the bumpers on the car pictured only mount on a MKI.. the dash is only found on a MKI, the emblems are all MKI... you pictured the engine bay with the narrow head that is only found on the MKI... I bet if you look underneath at the axles on the rear, they are solid axles, the MKII has rotoflex doughnuts in the half shafts found on the MKII not on the MKI.. it has a generator pictured in the engine bay, the MKII has an alternator not a generator..... the MKII has high back seats, not the low back seats that were only in a MKI... trust me.... do a little research, it's a MKI.... FYI... because it's the early version of the GT6, the MKI is actually a little more sought after because so few were built AND they are actually bringing MORE money in similar condition to a MKII...I've owned 27 Triumphs since I was 19 years old... just trying to help you in your listing.....- firesignsales
