1927 Star / Durant CoupeI will sell my 1927 Star Coupe / Coupster, as a parts car. I found this car in a barn, had been there for almost 50 years. (No title) It is pretty much complete, except for the top, but I have many of the wooden parts for a pattern, most are partially rotted. Most of the other metal body parts are there and in pretty good shape. Hood, trunk, fenders, doors, body panels, hinges, ect.The drive train is complete, engine (turns over), clutch (releases), starter, fly wheel, transmission (shifts), drive shaft, rear end, car rolls freely, the brakes work, all in tact.The radiator is there, (not a Star rad. cap.) The gas tank is there, vacume fuel pump, carb, dist. generator, ect.The dash is complete, with gauges, speedometer, horn, heater, not the correct steering wheel, button foot feed, ignition switch, clutch & brake pedals, wooden floor board missing.Most of the lights, and brackets are there, lenses broken. Head light bracket complete , I also have some door hinges, window cranks. The Star emblem on the radiator, not in too good shape.The windshield is complete, with wiper motor still attached, glass is broken,The wooden spoke wheels are all there and in good shape, with all 4 Star hubcaps also in good shape. The gas tank is there, some of the orginal gas lines, fuel pump, carb, sediment bowl, much of the original wireing,The Model is R, The VIN # E 22943, The Block # 14L 42361, The Head # 07A8185, cast date 9-21-1926.Would like to sell complete, would consider selling parts, would sell body and frame for a rat rod project.For more info or details, erniewruth@yahoo.com or 712-355-0161.
