Up for auction is my 1984 GMC S-15 Pickup. Long bed 2 wheel drive with factory 2.2 liter Isuzu n/a 4 cylinder diesel engine. Much sought after factory Borg Warner T-5 Transmission. Odometer shows 31,484 miles as of today but no has turned over at least once. I have owned this truck for over 2 years and was my daily driver. Body is fair with typical Chevrolet/GM rust for the Midwest and I have tried to portray it accurately with several photos and a video in my photobucket link. Parts new since I purchased it: Alternator, Timing Belt, Water Pump, thermostat, blower motor, lower radiator hose, exhaust from manifold back, glow plugs . I have rear shocks that I have yet to put on the truck. Tires are Michelin and are a matched set. Glow plugs are on a push button but go through the factory drop down resistor. Truck starts up every time. Transmission shifts great. Clutch is hydraulic and engages/disengages fine as well. This truck has power steering but no A/C. Functional block heater. Sony CD Player. The rear high pressure plug seal on the Injection Pump has a slight leak, headliner fabric is gone and the clutch master cylinder is seeping a little fluid around the plunger seal. It has been like that since I have owned it. This would be an excellent WVO conversion candidate or drive as it. Expect to see MPG numbers of mixed driving around 32. Mostly city closer to 30 and Mostly Highway (55 mph driving ) 34-35. I am not going to fib to you and tell you it will get 40 mpg because it won't. This truck is much heavier than it's Chevrolet LUV/Isuzu P'up counter part (Especially with the fiberglass topper). Also I have available the factory GM service manual for this truck.
