Vehicle Detail
I am adding this first paragraph on 7-29-12. I have had two bidders bid on the car and then canceled there bid for a reason put that I had changed the description or something to that effect. This is the first time that I have edited or added anything to this description. This is not on here for peoples amusement or anything like that. Please read everything in this description and then if you are serious buyer then bid. If you are in doubt about anything or need any information email me or call me at 318-278-1069. I will answer any questions you have. I want to make sure you are 100% sure you want this car before you bid. Now here is the original description. Up for bids is this unrestored 1965 ford mustang A code coupe. This is a no reserve auction so high bidder wins it. Please if you are not a serious buyer please appreciate my request and do not bid on the car if you do not intend on buying it. This is the third time I have listed this car because the first two buyers never showed up so please if you don't intend to buy it please do not bid on it. Now for all the serious people out there here it is. I wish you the best of luck. This was a nice car in its day. It came with the factory A code engine and a automatic transmission. It was also the rare color combo of raven black and red interior. It was fine when it was new. Well 47 years later and this is what you get but it is very restorable. The body overall is in good shape to be original and what appears to have had very little done to it. It is still the original paint on it and floor pans in it. The floors are in decent shape to be the original ones. There are some small holes in the very front of the front ones. They could be fixed easily with out having to cut out the old ones and replace them unless you just want to. The rear quarters will need a little work at the very bottom but also a easy fix. The body could be worked out pretty easy with some one that knows how to. All the glass is in good shape in it. The motor is still in the car. Someone got the transmission out of it at some point in time so there is no tranmission. The motor will need a overhaul no doubt. It will need a new hood. I have the back seat for it but no bucket seats. I have most of the interior pieces. The door tag is still on it and this is what it decodes out to be. This is a very restorable car that is priced to where you can get it and do something with it. 65A body 2 door coupe A color raven black 25 trim red standard interior 15A date January 15 25 DSO Richmond 1 Axle 3.00.1 6 transmission C-4 This is the decoding of the door tag. This was a rare good looking color combination on a 65 mustang. This is also the code for the GT so if you wanted to build a GT this would be the correct engine code. If you have questions or need more info just let me know. I will require full payment within seven days of the end of auction. I can store it as long as needed but I will need the payment. I prefer cash in person when picked up or certified bank check. If you have questions or need more info email me or call me at 318-278-1069. The car will be sold with a bill of sale. I had to put clear in the choices because it made me choose something but it will be sold with a bill of sale. The car has been sitting up for years and the title was lost. There are some states that don't require titles and some that have easy ways of getting titles. There are also companies such as broadway title services or international title services that can help you obtain paperwork to get a title.
