Kelly Blue Book rates this car as FAIR with a private party value of $1620. Only 153000 MILES!!!! The Not So Good: Body has rust holes on both sides of the car under the main door panels(see pictures) due to a major flaw in the drainage design. There are other rust spots here and there and some minor dents/scratches. Air conditioner was working up until last fall. Appears to be a loose and worn belt which is not grabbing the compressor. Windshield fluid sprayer doesn't spray. CD player works on and off. Small oil leak. Driver side backseat belt is stuck in the open position. The Good: We are the original owners of this car that was purchased in Shelbyville, Il. Car runs great and is very reliable. It's on the top 10 list of cars that won't die. This car is basically a Toyota (high quality parts). The interior is in EXCELLENT condition and is super clean considering the age. Only averaged 9000 miles a year. Tires and rims are only about 2 years old (~$700). Tires have about 10,000 miles on them and are good quality larger 185/65R14 snow tires. All 4 struts were replaced about 3 years ago (~$650). Recently replaced alternator and belt (~$250). Recently replaced catalytic converter and exhaust pipe from the engine to the converter (~$500). Newer Battery. Spare tire never used and is fully inflated. I have put more money into the car within the last 3 years than KBB has valued it! Mileage is between 22 and 30 city and between 25 and 35 on the highway per sticker. Excellent car for high school/college student due to the dependability. Free full tank of gas included!
