Up for sale is my 1984 AM General M923. This truck runs and performs perfectly. It has a Cummins NHC-250 engine , Allison automatic transmission and a two speed transfer case. This truck has 6x6 capability. Since I have owned it the ONLY off road time it has seen has been in my back yard. The tires on this truck are 95% even the spare. The paint has been freshened up all over except under the bed and inside the cab. This truck starts very easy,even in the winter it started at 18' Fahrenheit without any boost or starting fluid. That being said it does have the cold weather assisted starting option but I never had to use it. The cargo cover and insulated cab soft top was bought new last fall. The bed of the truck has the dropside option for easier loading and unloading of cargo. When I purchased the truck I drove it 550 miles back home .This truck is full air brakes, not air over hydraulic like the older ones. This truck drives so easy my wife can drive it . The only thing this truck needs is the front axle dust boots that can be bought on here for around $100 on here. In the pictures you will be able to see the tread depth of the Goodyear G177 tires and the underside of the bed that is peeling . The picture of the garage floor shows the tiny leaks after a full week of sitting in the garage. I wanted to show and tell the good and the bad as I know it as I want the new owner not to have any surprises. The only reason and I am serious ,the only reason I am selling this is because we are expecting another baby and we have to do some updating to the house. If you need some time after you buy the truck and I receive a deposit I can hold the truck for 60 days. After 30 days the deposit will be non refundable. I have decided to lower the reserve cause I can use the money more than the truck now. Take note as to I can only hold the truck now for 30 days instead of 60 after this lower reserve.
