Vehicle Detail
2002 Audi A4 FWD, 127,000 miles, clear title, clear carfax, never wrecked, original paint. Good:Engine 1.8 turboTiming belt and water pump just done. Runs great. (receipt included)Transmission computer was rebuild and works flawlessly (receipt included, with waranty)Transmission flushed.Body in great shape with a couple of very minor dings and very few scratches, no rust (Florida car). All original panels, never wrecked.Tires still in good shape low profile type. Rims are excellent.Leather is in good shape with only one 3 inch rip on the center panel of the driver seat (can be patched up easily)After-market Sony Radio, original car radio is included, sounds great.Sunroof works and is in good shapeAll glass in intact and not crackedOriginal tool kit, jack, emergency sign that came with the car, fully equippedComes with original manual and one key.No Check Engine lights, no flashing lights, none at all.Car looks very sharp, very eye catching. Bad:Transmission hesitates in the first gear and then jerks a couple of times. Sometimes it will stall the engine. Once rolling though it drives fine with no issues until the next stop. I was told it needs a new software upgrade and adaptation by the dealer or clutch pack upgrade from 6 to 7 disk clutch. All other gears including reverse work flawlessly. There are no engine codes for transmission at all. Computer says it works fine. I don't know and I am not putting any more money into it at the dealer's.That's the only reason car is selling dirt cheap to give your room to fix it up.Front grill plastic is chipped on the side ($50 part)Driver side headlight washer cover is missing ($30 part)Driver side window hesitates going up and makes crunchy noise. Needs window regulator ($50 part)Window and light switches paint is peeling (unsightly but fully functional) ($30 part)Mirror control button is missing ($30 part)Armrest pain is peeling (common for Audis, easy repaint fix)Driver seat back plastic panel flops at the bottom, needs to be secured. One passenger door plastic panes flops, needs some fasteners.Headliner sags very slightly in a couple of spots but doesn't need replacementTwo light bulbs on the back need to be replaced according to the dashboard message. One rear fog light and one center brake light. (should be easy enough if you are handy) I think I covered it all including very minor details. Car is 10 years old but it is an Audi and quality really shows even after 10 years. Car was bought for my son but after sinking a pile of money into it for all the little things and considering how much the dealer charges we ran out of budget. So, we are cutting our losses and selling it to someone who can finish it and give it the attention it deserves. Moving to VW Golf or Honda Civic. Audi comes with a clear title and everything as described. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as this is no reserve auction and the car will be sold cheap AS-IS. Winning bidder to deposit $500 within 24 hour through paypal and arrange to pick up the car withing 5 business day. If you plan to drive it please do so at your own risk knowing the quirky thing with the 1st transmission gear. Car still books at over $7,000 even on a bad day. NO RESERVE.
