NO RESERVE. 1967 Fiat Dino 2.0 Coupe. Known as the other
Ferrari Dino. Do your research, this is an Italian coupe that was built on the same line as the $300K Dino's that originally came with the same motor. Badged as a Fiat for Dealership sales; this has been an over looked piece of Ferrari and Racing History. The past few years the Fiat Dino Coupe has been climbing in value and becoming sought-after by collectors. This is Dino has been in Southern California most her life where she was stored in an older man garaged hidden away. She was repainted years ago; but not restored. Starts right up and drives great, but to be 100% road-worthy, she will need some minor repairs and may need some typical service work done. This would make a great driver car; but deserves a restoration for a quality investment. I am not an expert in the parts on this car and I know some of the parts are not original, and some items like the basic trim, lights, door handles, switches and items need some attention (driver door needs open from the inside). She comes with some older receipts of work done and maintenance and diagram books. This would be classified as a Garage Find thats not 100% Original, but a Rare find that would be make a Great Investment Restoration Project or a Great Driver with very little work compaired to a restoration. However I received an email that with the paid sell of the car the information will go to the winning bidder once car is paid for. Here is the email I got. "I have an extra Dino 2 liter motor and transmission that is for sale for $5000 plus shipping. The 2 liter transmission has been disassembled, found to be in excellent condition, then reassembled and resealed last year. The motor was removed when one of the pistons developed a hole in its top. Evidently, no other damage, but I cannot confirm that. Included are 5 new pistons, a starter, and a machined flywheel. No clutch, no distributor, no alternator, no air cleaner. I had planned to rebuild this engine as a spare, but find I'm just not getting to it and the engine in my car is in excellent shape. It is located in Portland Oregon. "
