I am selling my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Limited 4X4. The engine has been removed and is ready to have a new rebuilt engine installed. Everything was operational when the engine went bad on me. I was planning on fixing it and putting it back to use, but I changed my mind. I am selling it as is, where is and can help prepare it for shipping. This SUV has leather seats and all power equipment. The successful bidder will need to arrange pick up and I am selling it locally so I reserve the right to take this auction down if someone here buys it. The sunroof is not working and needs to be looked at by sunroof tech. If I have to put an engine in to sell it, I will ask for probably between $7,000 to $9,000, but since I an selling it without an engine, I will be taking much less. Paint is good for its age. Body has no damage. Headlights have that typical sun damage that most all vehicles exhibit nowadays. There are two tears on each of the front seats on the side and they are both small. It has an optional tow bar with a square type reciever. It will be a good cheap project that when finished will be worth the effort. Most rebuilt engines run between $1500 and $2500 and installation runs around $950 (Corpus Christi) I can give you the phone number to help you locate an engine and guide you to a mechanic to install it in (Corpus Christi).
