Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a 1956 FORD F-100 Custom Cab large window for sale. It is an all original steel body and frame. The body and frame were chemically dipped by San Diego Metal Strip in the late 1970’s, then dry blasted by R.W. Little in San Diego. All the body and paint work was done by Mark B. at Body Kraft in San Diego, using Delstar single stage paint, Porsche Guards Red, Code 027, in 1982. Interior was done by O.B. Boat & Auto. The engine is a 1970 Ford 351 Cleveland 4v with large oval port heads 8.5-9 compression, bored .30 over, Crower R.V. cam and balanced. Holley dual feed 4v carburetor. Transmission is a C6 with shift kit built by Moe M. (well known for building transmissions). Front suspension has been changed with a Mustang II front cross member and full upper and lower “A” arms, manual rack and pinion steering. This Truck was finished in 1982 and was driven very little, less than 2,000 miles since restoration. All fluids have been changed as well a new water pump, heater valve, fuel and coolant hoses, carburetor, tires, and complete brake system including hard and flex lines to bring everything up to date. The speedometer cable, heater defrost tubes, and seat belts were never installed. The radio is only a face plate. The only thing that does not work is the dome light, needs a new one. The chrome shows signs of light pitting, but most cleans up. This is a Fantastic Truck and for the last few months it has been driven almost every weekend to compliments and cheers.
