Notice the correct Shelby badging, chrome hood pins, dash, gauges, center console, side panels, doorsills, carpet, side mirrors, seat belts, 3-spoke steering wheel, gas cap, 10-spoke wheels, BF Goodrich Radial tires, chrome bumpers/parts, fog lights, roll bar, etc. ALL the interior is correct, and in great working order; including gauges, switches, windows, horn, wipers, lights, etc. There is new weather striping, and rubber on the doors and windows. The dash, doorsills, steering wheel, gauges, instruments, console, and door panels are Shelby GT 350 correct. The seats are leather, and the carpet is new. There is a full-length console (very rare), and a Shelby roll bar. NEW PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION NO old technology, poor performing leaf springs (notice smooth, solid ride in video - great canyon carver). NEW Rod and Custom Tubular A-Arm Adjustable Coil-Over Front Suspension Kit (RC 107), and a Rear Adjustable Coil-Over Triangulated 4-Link Rear Suspension Kit (RC 114). The Anti-Sway Bar, and Rack and Pinion Steering allow pinpoint steering. There are absolutely NO old-style support bars, bouncy leaf springs, dicey shocks or questionable steering/handling issues like in others. This suspension is incredible, and handles like a dream. NEWLY REBUILT 289 CI V8 HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE NEW aluminum Shelby exhaust manifold, head kit, 302 roller rockers, double roller timing chain, 4-barrel carburetor, long tube headers, Pro Comp ignition system, fuel/oil/pan filter, alternator, thermostat, power steering pump, fan kit, gaskets, hoses, lines, belts, Cobra aluminum finned valve covers/air filter, double oil pan, hydraulic lifters, push rods, filters, etc. The NEW electronic system consists of a Pro Comp Billet Distributor Kit, Coil and 6AL Ignition Box, with Wire Technologies Spark Plug Cables, and new electrical wiring. ALL PARTS ARE NEW! NEW BRAKE SYSTEM NEW Brake System includes cross-drilled, slotted front disc power brake kit (rear drums), and power booster/master cylinder/proportion valve all from Rod and Custom (RC 138). NEWLY REBUILT 3-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION The Newly Rebuilt 3-Speed Automatic Transmission has been fully upgraded to heavy-duty. There is a high performance Holley cam. It has an 8" rear end, and is geared for cruising. There is Synthetic Transmission Fluid, and a kick down. NEW AWESOME JL AUDIO SOUND SYSTEM The NEW Sound System is by JL Audio - Simply the Best You Will EVER Hear. There are FOUR JL Audio 6” speakers in the cabin, and TWO massive JL Audio 12” speakers in the trunk that are custom-built in a Ground Shaker Box (the Box can be easily removed from the trunk). There are TWO JL Audio 4-Channel Amplifiers, and a 12-Volt Capacitor custom mounted in the trunk. The head unit looks like the Original 1967 Mustang AM/FM stereo, although it is new and digital from Custom AutoSound. There is a Custom AutoSound 10-CD changer in the trunk, and a self-charging iPod connector in the console cubby. You can connect your iPhone, or leave an iPod (like a Shuffle or Nano) connected inside the cubby so that it is not visible, yet 100% functional. Everything may be operated from the stereo head unit. Whether loud or soft, rock or classical, the system is crisp and powerful -- if turned up, you will feel the power push through the back of the seats. Driving or just sitting in your garage, you will never want to turn it off. No Rust was found during the rebuild, and a black undercoating has been applied to the undercarriage, hood and trunk for future protection. The New Ford Candy Apple Red, and White Dual Stripe Paint is the perfect color combination, and looks incredible (custom white paint stripes along top, and white vinyl GT 350 stripes along lower door panels). The interior paint is also new. This is the ultimate eye candy! The New White, Power-Operated Convertible Top opens and closes with a dash switch.
