Vehicle Detail

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback Project Car. 2 owner car, I have owned for 38 years, not driven in 30 years, has been stored inside. Condition of drivetrain: Good, 100% original, all numbers match, starts/runs great, frankly the engine/trans has never been worked on! Body: Fair. left rear quarter rust. Other body has some dings, bondo, etc. A few parts missing, headlight trim rings, etc. Original Mach 1 hood included (slight damage). Glass: Crack in windshield, all other good. Interior: Fair, all carpet our, seats need redo, headliner needs redo, dash gauges good, trim/rocker panels etc. fair, floors good; Would appreciate first option on repurchase if bought to restore, resell. . . have always wanted to myself, just didn't have energy! Thank you for your interest. On Jul-23-12 at 19:53:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Update as many questions have been asked. First, the only rust I can see is on the left rear quarter (bad), NONE other than some light surface rust on lower rocker panel, etc., No rust on floors, inside rocker panels, underneath doors, etc. Front rubber bumper is good, needs refinish and paint. Noticable dents are in trunk lid, bad dent in right rear quarter, small ding in Mach 1 hood (not on car). Rear seats good, one front seat fair, one poor. Mirrors (on doors) do not match, not original. Inside dash board is all original and in basically good condition. Original steering wheel, has maybe one crack in it, but good. Padded dash board is not original and fair. Have talked with more than one body shop. Car is definately better than a "parts car", certainly worth restoring. Lots of questions about rust. . . Why only one quarter would rust so bad and none other. . I do not know, but, I truley do not see any significant rust anywhere else on the car, and can clearly see the floors and rockers, due to the carpet being removed. Finally, do keep in mind I am representing this as a "project car". .. there is much work needed on this vehicle. No gaurantees other than clear title, drivetrain ALL original and good operating condition and no significant rust other than LR quarter. Other than that, buy what you see. Certainly not trying to misrepresent. My minimum bid certainly reflects the condition. Thanks, and happy bidding!
