You are bidding on a 1977 Datsun 280Z. I have owned the car for 4 years. I am selling now because I am in college and I need the money. It was just professionally painted and I will have the exhaust replaced and a new inspection before the bidding ends. The body is very good condition, with only minor rust behind the front wheels, which has been repaired. The car runs well. As you can see from the photos, the seats are not original. The other non-stock items include: front disk brakes, more aggressive cam shaft, a 5-speed transmission from a 1982 280Z, a rear differential from a 1985 200SX turbo, and alloy wheels. I still have the original 4-speed transmission, which you can have with the car. The intake system has been simplified. The car starts well in warm weather; starting in cold weather takes a little patience as there is no choke or cold starting system. Once the car is warm it will restart easily. The suspension has been stiffened with urethane bushings. The front drum brakes have been replaced with front disk brakes, which really helps with stopping. The system works well IMO. The stereo system includes an Alpine stereo system, Boston Acoustics speakers, a Powerbase amp, and a 10" Alpine subwoofer, which you can see in the photos included with this listing. Overall, the car is real looker and gets lots of attention. I have enjoyed owning her (she is named Eleanor), and will really miss her.
