I have a 1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe for sale. NO TITLE. My father began working on this car years ago and the car has been passed down to me. This car has 55,000 ORIGINAL miles on it with the original engine and transmission. New battery, all brakes have been gone through, power brake unit has been rebuilt, seats have been reupholstered, but the original headliner and inner door panels are still on the car. Extra brake light lenses are still in the box in the trunk, along with the hubcaps, 2 hood ornaments, and the antenna for the radio. Also has the Original radio manual and the sales flyer for that year of Packard. The fuel tank will need to be boiled, as it has sat with old gas in it for a few years, but if gas is poured directly into carb, this baby will purr!!! Also needs tires as the ones currently on it will not all hold air. THIS CAR MUST BE BONDED TO GET THE TITLE as the last time it was registered was 1983. This vehicle has NOT been restored. it is original except for paint.....only visible rust is about 2" diameter on the lower rear rocker panel. It does have the original fender skirts. According to everything I have seen, this car will be worth serious money with very little effort and time. Unfortunately I do not have the time nor the money, or the car knowledge to make this the car it deserves to be.
