Here is a blast from the past, this 1978 Mercury Cougar is a very rare find with it's bucket seats and floor shifter. A very small number of theses cars were ever made, this one has only 59,000 miles and looks and drive like it does. The 351 V8 engine runs like a clock, the tranny with it's shift kit will kick hard when you want it to. The paint is the factory color black, it was repainted years ago and still looks great! This is NOT a 10 footer car....This is a great looking car with a finish that would cost 5 grand to do theses days, the body is rust free and as you can see the frame is great! All of the cars brite work is in great shape to as well as the bumper mounts front and back. I have taken a picture of the only bad spot I could find on the driver side rear moon window, it has touch up on it and it does not take away from the car at ALL! The chrome Wheels take you right back to the day, they are wrapped with BF Goodrich tires that have less then 5,000 miles on them.......................The inside of the car is AWESOME..the dash has no cracks, all the gauges work( Has the sport gauge package) Factory tape player. The seats are not torn at all and the head liner is just as nice. I am a collector of 60s,70s cars and need to make some room for a 1972 scamp I want.. Folks, this is a VERY,VERY,nice car. you would be proud to own it, everytime we drive it we get all thumbs up and ton's of smiles....I have a very low reserve on this car and alot of my sales end before the listing......If you have any questions you can reach me anytime at 319-533-1770.. So if you do not plan on buying the car don't bid! From now on I will hold you to it.....Not trying to be mean, a deal is a deal...................THIS CARS HAS NO RUST AND APPEARS TO HAVE NO BONDO..........WHAT YOU SEE ON THE LOWER QUARTERS IS ANIT-CHIP THAT WAS ADDED TO THE PAINT WHEN IT WAS DONE.....Does a great job protecting this baby.. yes that is a new gas tank.....Yes you can drive this car home ANYWHERE...Good luck JB out!
